Silencers

The purpose of the silencer is to reduce the noise originating from the internal combustion process of the engine. Dinex silencers are designed to achieve high attenuation with low backpressure using a combination of reflection chambers, resonators, perforates & absorption.

Silencers are normally produced by rolling and lock seaming the body with subsequent inserting the internal parts and ending with lock seaming the end baffles to the body, using a limited amount of welds for a more durable product. The material is typically aluminized ferritic steel.
